A mere 24 hours after two simultaneous Palestinian terror attacks against Jewish Israelis took place Sunday night in Judea and Samaria, terrorists carried out another attack in the region.
Palestinian terrorists fired upon two Israeli vehicles Monday night on Highway 465 near the Jewish community of Neve Tzuf, also known as Halamish, located northeast of the Palestinian city of Ramallah in the Binyamin region. The bullets missed the cars; no injuries were reported.
A third car arrived at a military checkpoint with bullet holes, which the driver claimed were sustained earlier at the same location.
A Jewish civilian fired back at the terrorist shooting from the side of the road, and the gunman fled.
Army trackers subsequently located spent bullet casings used by the assailant at the site of the attack, and the IDF is conducting an investigation.
Palestinian sources report that three arrests have been made in the nearby village of Deir Abu Mash’al.
Two Palestinian road attacks were carried out on Sunday night, one on a school bus driving past the Arab village of Hawara in Samaria, and the second on an Israeli public transportation bus near the Jewish community of Adam in the Benjamin region. Five people were wounded in the latter.
