Vote for Tel Aviv as the City of the year!   Citigroup has sponsored a contest to determine the city of the year and Tel Aviv has been nominated.  The website lists the following about Tel Aviv:

  • honored by UNESCO as an example of modern architecture and town planning.
  • metropolitan area population is 3.3 million.
  • In June, CA Technologies and Tel Aviv University announced plans for a new multi-million dollar innovation center.
  • Highlighting Tel Aviv’s tradition of innovation in research and technology, the Startup Genome Project called the city a top “start-up success ecosystem.”
