The bi-annual international Juniper Cobra military drill has been affected by the COVID-19 threat, as some foreign soldiers are being barred from landing in Israel.

At least one IDF soldier has been diagnosed with COVID19, or coronavirus, and is quarantined in a special ward at Sheba Medical Center, i24 News reports.

Hundreds of other soldiers have been ordered to self-quarantine at home, including a major general, who, upon returning from Italy, had several meetings, one of which was with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The PMO issued a statement that Netanyahu has been taking precautions and would not have caught the virus.

What has been affected, however, is the bi-annual international Juniper Cobra military drill in Israel, which began on Tuesday. Watch and see!
