WATCH: Convicted Arab MK Calls Terrorists ‘Freedom Fighters’

Basel Ghattas, found guilty of aiding and abetting terror, considers murderers of Israeli civilians “freedom fighters.”

A member of the Arab Joint List faction of the Knesset was recently caught on camera giving prohibited materials to a Palestinian inmate at Ketziot prison in the Negev.

Among the items handed to the prisoners, serving time for terror offenses, were cellphones that apparently would be used to coordinate attacks against innocent civilians.

Ghattas, who expresses no regret for his actions and equates Palestinian terrorists with “freedom fighters,” will serve two years in prison and resigned from the Knesset, according to a plea bargain.
