A unique art exhibition in Jerusalem, emojis are used to capture the emotions and experiences of Israelis in the aftermath of October 7th.
Created by graduates of Betzalel Academy of Arts and Design, the exhibition highlights how emojis can convey deep pain and patriotism, with the Israeli flag emoji being the most prominent symbol of national pride.
Titled “Simultaneously,” the exhibition reflects the complex reality of Israeli society as it navigates between war and daily life. A standout piece, “Patch” by Michal Harabi, invites visitors to personalize their experience with bandages, representing healing and resilience.
