Dubai hosted a public Chanukah celebration on Saturday night, which served as a symbol of the powerful impact the Abraham Accords are having on the Middle East.

On Saturday evening, a giant menorah was lit up in Dubai to celebrate the Chanukah holiday, which is the Jewish festival of lights.

U.S. Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism Elan Carr participated in the ceremony and posted a video of Israelis singing in Hebrew in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

UAE ambassador, Yousef Al Otaiba, reportedly commented, “This year, I’m lighting the Chanukah candles with you at the same time the Jewish community in the UAE are lighting their Chanukah candles. Now that is peace.”
