This 89-year-old Holocaust survivor beat the Nazis as a child is now experiencing the joy of seeing her grandson take to the sky as an Israeli Air Force pilot.
Lila fled Poland when she was just 10 years old, witnessing first hand the brutality of the Nazis as they terrorized her hometown and surrounding areas.
She not only survived the Holocaust, Lila made it to Israel, where she raised a family and is now the proud grandmother of Lt. A, an Israeli Air Force pilot.
In this touching clip, Lila witnesses her grandson fly over her home, watching over her and the Jewish people in the State of Israel.
