Caption: The staff of Rescuers Without Borders treat the Haitian children and adults. A team was sent by the Rescuers Without Borders organisation to Haiti consisting of optometrist and doctors who treated hundreds of children who were orphaned during the tragic earthquake. Many of these kids suffer from a skin worm that infects their legs and causes evere inflammation damage that will leads in 10% of the cases to the need to amputate of the limb. The children got examined and 50% of them had a need for glasses, which they recieved for free. The instructors taught tje teaching staff at the orphanage a first aid course and gave them medical equipment. The president of Rescuers Without Borders, Arieh Levy, ordered a contractor to install water system as the building had no running water and lacked toilets and showered.
