The parody tutorial was made by 19-year-old Hannah Laskow Defore, an American serving in the IDF’s Machal program for volunteers from overseas.
Defore demonstrates in front of the camera how to apply camouflage. Just as any other woman might teach how to use regular make-up, she describes, in a serious tone and peppered with witty comments about army life, how to apply each color of the camouflage and blend it in.
Within a week, more than 500,000 people had seen the video.
