“Iran will never lay down its weapons. We were chosen to wage Jihad,” vowed a top Iranian commander in a speech aired this month.

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Deputy Commander General Hossein Salami declared in a speech aired on Iranian TV that his nation’s sword has been “drawn out of its sheath.”

Iran will “break” the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and their allies and “cleanse the world of their filth,” claimed Salami.

He added, “This is who we are. We were not created for this world. We were chosen to wage Jihad.”
