From attacks on synagogues to vandalized cemeteries, anti-Semitism in Europe feels eerily familiar.

In recent years, European anti-Semitism has been rearing its ugly head again, making Jews unsafe across the continent.

While the European Union adopted a historic declaration to counter the mounting threat of anti-Semitism, calling anti-Semitism an “attack on European values,” the staggering number of incidents and their severity is alarming.

Let’s hope the EU declaration isn’t a case of too-little-too-late.
