Now that the winter weather has finally arrived in Israel, many are saying that it’s “freezing,” especially in areas like Jerusalem.
To those living in places like Toronto and New York, where temperatures have gone way below zero degrees celsius, Jerusalem is far from freezing.
However, there is a winter storm coming this weekend, with temperatures expected to plunge to about 11 degrees – which seems freezing cold to Jerusalemites.
The good news is that lots of rain is predicted – a blessing. Due to the ongoing drought, many have been praying for rain over the past several weeks.
