Hebron spokesman Yishai Fleisher pointed out that Kamala Harris’ qualified declaration during the presidential debate that “Israel has a right to defend itself” against Hamas, but that “how it does so matters,” was simply bending the knee to Hamas.

He noted that saying someone has a right to defend himself, while ostensibly supportive in nature, is actually meaningless because the right to self-defense is already an inalienable right, like “the right to breathe.”

Therefore, he continued, granting Israel the right to defend itself is simply a way to pay lip service to Israel before demanding it capitulate to its enemies by surrendering its land and security.
