The past several days have seen an increase in terror activity, including the thwarting of a “major” attack.

Two people were moderately wounded in a stabbing attack on Jaffa Street outside the Jerusalem Central Bus Station on Monday afternoon.

The deployment of security forces, including Shin Bet personnel, led to the thwarting of a “major” terrorist attack on Monday, the details of which were placed under a gag order, TPS reports.

The increase in attacks in recent days appears to be inspired by the escape of six security prisoners from an Israeli jail, four of whom were recaptured.
