WATCH: Israel to Get the World's First Hover Cars Transport System

In 2015, Tel Aviv will be the first city to test out the world’s first hover cars, vehicles that fly above ground and which usually appear in science fiction, thanks to the SkyTran rapid system.

How does it work? Jet-like vehicles will be suspended in mid-air from a Magnetic Levitation (Maglev) track. The cars reportedly travel up to 240 km./hour.
