Dozens of lives were saved when an elite IDF cyber unit foiled a sophisticated ISIS plan to blow up an Australian airliner.
An elite IDF intelligence unit thwarted an Islamic State (ISIS) plot to bomb an airliner flying out of Australia at the end of 2017.
IDF intelligence discovered the plot not only in time to warn the Australian government, but also to capture the terrorists before they could carry out the attack.
“This is one of many, many such actions that we did preventing terrorism around the world,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Thursday, after the plot was revealed.
