Judo Champion Inbar Lanir talks about winning her recent gold medal in Qatar.

Inbar Lanir, 23, won a gold medal in the under 78-kilogram (172-pound) weight class at the World Judo Championships in Doha, Qatar, last week.

Her win came as a surprise as her opponent, France’s Audrey Tcheumeo, holds the most medals of any French judoka in history.

Inbar discusses her gold medal experience and shares what it was like to be an Israeli athlete in a country that doesn’t have diplomatic relations with the Jewish state.
