While the coronavirus disease has impacted people all over the world, it has largely prevented the elderly from continuing their daily routines and getting their day-to-day needs met, as the illness is often fatal for them.

Door2Dor is an organization in Israel that matches young people to senior citizens who need help during the pandemic. Dor, in Hebrew, means ‘generation’ and the name of the organization is a play on the phrase “from generation to generation.”
