Turkey Earthquake

With its strong expertise in aid to disaster victims around the globe, the Jewish state is sending disaster relief to Turkey.

On Monday, Turkey and Syria experienced a devastating earthquake that left more than a thousand people dead and many more injured.

The quake was so strong it was felt as far south as Jerusalem.

Chaim Rafalowski, Disaster Management Coordinator of Magen David Adom emergency services, discusses the work ahead for Israel’s rescue mission in Turkey and the difficulties the team will face.
