Israelis won’t let a pandemic stop them from going out and enjoying themselves. Introducing socially distanced “sail-in” movies!

Since movie theaters have been closed for months due to the spread of the coronavirus, movie-goers have been desperately missing the big screen.

Well, thanks to some good ol’ Israeli ingenuity, movie theaters and social distancing are no longer contradictory.

The Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality held a “sail-in” theater on the lake of HaYarkon Park where residents could watch movies while rocking gently in socially distanced boats.
