President Obama was Jon Stewart’s guest on the Daily Show where the two discussed the Iranian nuclear agreement. Stewart didn’t challenge him on a single point.

President Obama said, “Right now we’re going after ISIL… but with respect to Iran – look this is an adversary. They are anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, they sponsor terrorist organizations like Hezbollah.”

Obama then made it clear that the goal of the deal is to stop Iran from getting a nuclear bomb. Unfortunately, Stewart did not challenge any of the points the president made. But one thing is for sure: the more one reviews the deal, the less sense it makes.

The US Congress must ensure that sanctions against Iran remain in force until the nuclear threat is completely eliminated.

I strongly oppose easing sanctions before the nuclear threat from Iran has been eliminated. Allowing Iran to enrich uranium without being subject to 'anytime, anywhere' inspections is extremely dangerous and unacceptable. Iran's nuclear program must be stopped.
