In a video circulating on social media and shared by Yishai Fleisher, a Gaza man conveys a blunt message for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump as they meet in Washington: “Just open the border, and leave the rest to us.”

“Don’t say anything. Don’t do anything – I want to leave,” the man says.

The man emphasizes he only seeks basic human dignity. “To be able to come and go legally. To treat everyone with respect and be treated with respect.”

“Just open the border, and don’t worry about it after that.”

“Don’t make excuses, don’t start making all sorts of statements, just open,” he concludes.
