Love Fest! In a beautiful show of peace and unity, Latin American Muslim leaders honored their Jewish brothers and sisters ahead of Rosh Hashana on a Zoom call.
Continuing the theme of peace and coexistence between the Arab world and the Jewish people, Muslim and Jewish leaders from around Latin America took part in a Zoom call in which the Muslim representative wished the Jewish community a “Shana Tova,” with some extending invitations to their Jewish counterparts.
Part of the call included asking one of the participating rabbis to blow a Shofar, in the hope that the sound will inspire unity.
