Why would anyone place swastika-emblazoned flags in public view on Rosh Hashana?
The owner of a “private historical museum” in Miami said the reason Nazi flags were unfurled on his property was to “air [them] out,” Miami’s Channel 10 reported.
Shockingly, the museum chose to clean the Nazi artifacts on one of the holiest days of the year for the Jewish people: Rosh Hashana.
Viewing the swastika banners caused distress to neighbors of the museum, who were able to see the flags from their windows. Museum owner Ivan Sherman said he would make a donation to a charity to make amends for the incident.
