Kfir and Shiri Bibas

On the first birthday of hostage Kfir Bibas, Kibbutz Nir Oz marked the occasion by making a cake and decorating the kindergarten of Nir Oz, one of the kibbutzim devastated by the Hamas attacks on October 7th.

On Tuesday, the 102nd day of the captivity of Kfir, his brother Ariel (4), his mother Shiri (32) and his father Yarden (34), friends, family and neighbors released orange balloons and said, “Bring them home now.”

Shiri’s cousin Yosi Shnaider said, “We’re marking a birthday for a kid who’s not here.”
