Modern-day Palestinian terrorists have a lot in common ideologically with Nazis in Germany during World War II: hatred for Jews and love for the same antisemitic literature.

The most extensively disseminated antisemitic book in contemporary history, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, was initially printed in the Russian newspaper Znamya on August 26, 1903.

Although thoroughly debunked, the book is based on antisemitic stereotypes and claims of a Jewish plot for world domination. The forgery remains a widely used propaganda instrument, especially in the Arab world.

It is used by the Hamas terrorist organization, the Palestinian Authority and other Jew-hating groups and countries to promote antisemitism and violence against the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
