A Turkish police officer saved many lives when he shot one of the suicide bombers, bringing him to the ground and preventing him from detonating his explosive device near civilians.
A heroic police officer at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport prevented numerous additional casualties.
He was able to gun down one of the suicide bombers and flee moments before the detonation.
