Bassem Eid, a prominent political analyst, human rights pioneer and expert commentator in Arab and Palestinian affairs, slammed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for labeling Israel an apartheid state.
According to Eid, the purpose of those spreading such libel against the Jewish state is to spread antisemitism around the world.
