Joe Rogan defended Ilhan Omar’s antisemitic statements over two weeks ago, and has yet to walk back these tropes about Jews.
In a world where antisemitism is becoming as common as a sunny day in Florida, you would think that celebrities and influencers would think about the impact of their messages before sharing them with millions of people. But superstar podcaster Joe Rogan, who has an average of 11 million viewers a week, demonstrated that this is far from the reality.
While defending Rep. Ilhan Omar’s past antisemitic statements, Rogan promoted an age-old antisemitic trope about Jews, saying that, “The idea that Jewish people are not into money is ridiculous. That’s like saying Italians aren’t into pizza. It’s f—ing stupid. It’s f—ing stupid.”
Shame on you Joe Rogan and for your vile comments. And for refusing to walk them back.

Shame on you Joe! This is peddling in age-old antisemitic tropes that directly lead to violence against Jews! No respect for you! pic.twitter.com/oP94SAUokP
