Footage posted by the X “Open Source Intel” account showed new Syrian leader “Al-Jolani” speaking about “Palestine” and the obligation Muslims have to “liberate” it.

“It’s a big duty for Muslims to strive for the liberation of this land and to support its people,” he said.

“It’s, frankly speaking, a painful issue,” he continued. “I am one of the people who lived his childhood and youth on loving Palestine. Looking at it, I thought about the duty that we had to fulfill in order to do something in regards to Palestine.”

“In reality, this is what led me to path of jihad – consciously and unconsciously – that it was a duty that we had to fulfill.”
