Senator Lindsey Graham has spoken out about the nuclear framework deal, specifically criticizing President Obama and the threat to the Middle East.
According to Graham, President Obama is a “flawed negotiator” who should leave the job of reaching a nuclear deal with Iran to whoever his successor will be. “I don’t want a war, but I also don’t want to give Iran the tools to attack the Middle East and one day us,” Graham said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.” “I believe there is a better deal.”
What Graham is saying echoes sentiments expressed by Prime Minister Netanyahu. It’s not about going to war against Iran. It’s about securing a deal that will prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power. This might not be possible with President Obama, whom Graham believes is not trusted by the Iranian regime.
