Since the tragic events of October 7th in southern Israel, the world has witnessed a disturbing rise in antisemitism. Acts of violence, hate speech, and discriminatory behavior towards Jewish communities have surged globally, leaving many feeling increasingly vulnerable.
Jews across the world have found themselves hiding their identity out of fear for their safety. Simple acts, such as wearing a Star of David necklace or attending a synagogue, now carry the risk of assault or worse.
It underscores the urgent need for collective action and solidarity to combat hate and ensure that no one has to live in fear because of their identity.
This is from France, but it could be any Jewish community, anywhere in the world.
This isn’t 1938–it’s 2024.
