Yair Avinoam, an Israel Prison Service Officer, saved 2 little girls under live fire on the tragic day of Oct. 7th. Dozens of terrorists infiltrated the kibbutz of Sderot killing numerous civilians and security personnel.

Yair got the call for help and immediately rushed toward the source of gunfire. He saw a car with 2 children inside crying for help. Earlier, terrorists killed both their mother and father and a Bedouin civilian attempting to help the children escape.

Yair then grabbed the children and evacuated them to safety. His heroic efforts on that horrific day underscore the bravery and courage displayed by the Israeli community in the face of danger.
