In a targeted strike in Beirut, Lebanon, the IDF eliminated Fuad Shukr, a senior military commander of Hezbollah responsible for numerous terrorist attacks, including the Majdal Shams massacre, which killed 14 Druze children.

Shukr’s involvement in attacks, notably the horrific US Marine Corps barracks bombing that killed 241 American troops, marked him as a significant threat.
