On Wednesday, thousands of Israelis took to the streets to celebrate Jerusalem Day.
The holiday celebrates the unification of Eastern and Western Jerusalem during the six-day war in 1967.
It also commemorates the day Jews regained access to the Western Wall, a crucial holy site in Judaism.
