Before October 7th, two 19-year-old friends, Liri Albag and Itay Amar, brought joy to nursing home residents.
Liri Albag was taken hostage by Hamas on October 7th, and Sergeant Itay Amar was killed in an explosion in Rafah on Saturday.
Amar’s brother Ofir said, “He told us he had a friend who was kidnapped, which was difficult for him. He had the honor of dying to defend the people of Israel.”
