Israel’s security barrier, bordering Judea and Samaria, has reduced deaths through Palestinian terror by over 90 percent.
Palestinian leaders launched a pre-planned, “Second Intifada” in September 2000, murdering over 1000 Israelis over the next five years.
In response to the murders, Israel began building a security barrier largely along the “green line,” marking Israel’s eastern border before it liberated the mountainous and strategically important region of Judea and Samaria, the biblical Jewish heartland, during the Six Day War in 1967.
Watch to see what the barrier looks like and how well it has worked at protecting Israeli lives.
