Islamic terror continues to strike around the world. Australia, France and possibly Sweden. Where next?
French policemen shot and killed a Muslim terrorist who infiltrated a police station armed with a knife and tried to commit murder.
The incident occurred in Joue Les Tours on Saturday night when a 20-year-old Muslim stabbed a policewoman in the face and attacked two other officers while shouting “Allah Akbar.”
French newspaper Le Figaro reports that the assailant, who has a criminal record, approached the three officers, expressing rage. They tried calming him down, but he attacked and they were forced to shoot him in self-defense.
French authorities announced that the attack was motivated by terror and that the terrorist’s brother is a known Islamist who regularly expresses extreme opinions. Nevertheless, the police believe that the attack was not inspired by the Islamic State (IS or ISIS) terror organization.
Islamic Terror in Malmo?
Also on Saturday, two car bombs exploded in Malmo, Sweden, in a district known for a high immigrant population from Muslim countries such as Lebanon and Iraq.
No one was injured by the early-morning explosion, when one bomb exploded near a building and another in a nearby parking lot. To date, no one has claimed responsibility.
These blasts are the latest in a series of car bomb attacks in Malmo, police said. A prominent downtown building that houses municipal and judicial offices, a courthouse, and a police station were all targeted.
Sweden has been the scene of Islamic-motivated riots and police have been targeted by Muslims in the past.
