75 Arab Terror Suspects Arrested in Israeli Counterterrorism Operations

Israeli security forces carrying out counterterrorism operations across Judea and Samaria apprehended approximately 75 wanted individuals and confiscated 17 weapons during the past week, the IDF said.

Israeli security forces carrying out counterterrorism operations across Judea and Samaria apprehended approximately 75 wanted individuals and confiscated 17 weapons during the past week, the Israel Defense Forces said on Thursday.

In the village of Al-Yamum in northern Samaria, four suspects were detained and two M-16 rifles were seized. Similar operations in Hebron led to the arrest of four individuals and the confiscation of two rifles.

Additionally, in the village of Immatain, thousands of shekels in terror funds were seized.

Since the October 7 attacks, Israeli forces have arrested more than 6,000 wanted Arabs in counterterror operations in Judea and Samaria. Around 40 percent were affiliated with Hamas.

At the same time, as part of the first phase of the hostage deal, Israel has freed some 2,000 Arab terrorists from Israeli prison.
