kfar aza massacre

Israel continues to fight the war ignited by Hamas on Oct. 7, when the terrorist group invaded southern Israel, decimated communities, killed 1,139 people, and abducted 250 hostages to Gaza, where 101 remain in captivity.

The nation grapples with the trauma of that horrific day, unable to find closure as rockets continue to fly, and Hamas remains a threat. The mission to hold those responsible accountable is far from complete.

Survivors struggle to rebuild a sense of normalcy, while those rescued or released from captivity are left piecing together fragments of the lives Hamas took from them.
