Fanning the flames of hatred and violence, Israeli-Arab Member of Knesset (MK) Ahmed Tibi posted on Facebook a distorted and fictitious version of a recent terror attack in Jerusalem.

Israeli-Arab Member of Knesset (MK) Ahmed Tibi posted a distorted version of the early Sunday morning terror attack in Jerusalem in which Fadi Alun, a Palestinian terrorist, stabbed an Israeli youth and was subsequently shot dead by Israeli police.

Prior to stabbing a 15 year old boy, Alun posted on his Twitter account: “Allah, give victory to the martyrs in Palestine over the oppressive Jews.”

Most of the incident was recorded and posted online.

Tibi claimed in a Facebook post Monday night that Alun was not a terrorist, and instead was being accosted by Israelis, whom he called “settlers,” during the incident,  and when he ran towards police for protection they shot him.

“My name is Fadi. I am 19 years old. I was chased by Israeli settlers then ran for help from the Israeli Police and then they shot me to death,” the caption on a photo of Alun said. The picture contains a watermark saying “I acknowledge Apartheid exists.”

Tibi’s post was widely shared.

Many Israelis were enraged by the post and responded to it, forcing Tibi to edit his post. One responder wrote: “Do your hands not shake when you publish blatant lies on Facebook?”

Another wrote: “during these moments Moshe Malka, aged 15 [whom Alun stabbed in the terror attack], is lying in Shaare Zedek hospital. He was rushed there from the scene at which Fadi Alun was shot by Israeli policemen. Assuming Malka did not stab himself in the chest and back, and Alun had no intention of preparing a salad with the knife he was wielding while running from the police, then the photo you posted is a total lie. The publishing of these stories damage first and foremost your integrity. You have a responsibility as an Israeli Member of Knesset to stick to facts. It’s a shame you have chosen to do otherwise.”

Tibi later tried to defend his hateful post.

“I was comparing Fadi to Yishai Schlissel,” Tibi claimed in edited post on Tuesday, referring to the man who stabbed six people at the Jerusalem Gay Pride parade in September. “The Israel Police arrested him and took him into custody, but they shot Fadi dead,” he lamented, saying that the knife wielding Alun did not consist a threat to the public at the moment he was shot dead.

Malka is still hospitalized for the wounds he sustained in the attack.

Tibi is known for his pro-Palestinian, pro-terror and anti-Israel stances. He recently expressed his longings for arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat, for whom he served as a political adviser for many years.
