Rapper Snoop Dogg posted an image of a swastika lurking behind the American flag, a troubling post considering his love for Louis Farrakhan, a hate preacher who once praised Adolf Hitler as a “very great man.”

Calvin Broadus Jr., who is better known by his stage name Snoop Dogg, was blasted on social media for posting an image on Instagram of a black-and-white American flag, which hid a Nazi banner behind it.
Broadus appeared to be comparing the United States to Nazi Germany, adding the caption “Amerikkka,” an apparent reference to the Ku Klux Klan, a well-known anti-Semitic and racist hate group in America. The American flag in the post is also widely used to show solidarity with members of law enforcement.
The 48-year-old rapper has over 50 million Instagram followers.
While a good number of commenters slammed Broadus, the post had over half a million likes after three days on Instagram.
That Broadus invoked the Nazis raised eyebrows in light of the fact that he has consistently expressed his support for notorious anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan, who famously praised genocidal monster Adolf Hitler as a “very great man.”
In 2019, when Facebook kicked Farrakhan off its site, Broadus posted an Instagram video in which he said, “If you’re down with it like I’m down with it, post your favorite Mr. Farrakhan videos on your Instagram and Facebook page. Show some love to a real brother.”
In another profanity-laced video, Broadus said, “How the f— y’all gonna ban Minister Louis Farrakhan for putting the truth out there? I stand with him. I’m with him. Ban me, motherf—er.”
Farrakhan’s history of virulent anti-Semitism goes back at least four decades and includes lies such as the conspiracy theory that “there were many Israelis and Zionist Jews in key roles in the 9/11 attacks.”
