This Hamas war crime has received little attention from the media. Why?

Israeli citizen Avera Mengistu crossed into Gaza in September 2014 and has been held by the Hamas terror group ever since.

Whil he suffers from mental health issues, Hamas continues to hold captive him and another Israeli civilian Hisham al-Sayed, in addition to the bodies of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul.

Yesterday, marked eight years since Avera was taken into captivity. To commemorate the day, a rally was held in Ashkelon, calling for his release. This Hamas war crime has received little attention from the media. Why?
