Israelis have long known that Iran supports Hamas and today, the Islamic Republic is helping the Gaza terror group rebuild terror tunnels from which it can attack Israel again.

In what is no surprise to Israelis, but deeply disturbing nonetheless, The Telegraph reported on Sunday that, “Iran has sent Hamas’s military wing tens of millions of dollars to help it rebuild the network of tunnels in Gaza” destroyed by Israel last summer during Operation Protective Edge.’
The report continues, “It [Iran] is also funding new missile supplies to replenish stocks used to bombard residential neighbourhoods in Israel.”

Iran is actively taking on a larger role as it pursues regional dominance. The Islamic Republic has long supported and continues to support numerous terror and military campaigns in the Middle East including the Shi’te Houthi rebels in Yemen, Iraq’s attempt to regain Tikrit from Islamic State (ISIS), Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza.
