Israeli security forces arrested three Palestinians on Saturday on suspicion of weapons trafficking after Border Police found an M-16 assault rifle in their car.

Acting on prior intelligence provided by the IDF, Border Policemen set up roadblocks and caught the three suspects, in their 20s, near the Tapuah Junction in Samaria.
During a search of their vehicle, the policemen uncovered the assault rifle that was dismantled and hidden throughout the car.
The suspects, residents of Ramallah and Shechem (Nablus), were arrested and taken for further questioning.

The Tapuach Junction has been the site of several Palestinian terror attacks.
