A number of Israeli lawmakers are working to ban MK Zoabi, who they claim has repeatedly crossed all lines in voicing her opposition to Israel’s very existence.

Political factions in Israel’s parliament, known as the Knesset, have joined together to try to ban Arab Member of Knesset (MK) Hanin Zoabi, who they say voices support for terror and viciously criticizes Israel.

Several parties, including Likud, Shas, Bayit Yehudi and Yisrael Beitinu, have petitioned the Central Elections Committee to disqualify Zoabi from running in the upcoming elections and from being elected to the Knesset on the grounds that she supports terror and opposes Israel’s existence as a Jewish State.

“Given the extreme and intolerable number of times Israel’s enemy, MK Zoabi, has trampled on the values and symbols of our country – inciting against it, giving support to terrorist organizations in their armed fight against the State of Israel – I hereby appeal to the members of the Central Elections Committee to grant my request and disqualify Zoabi,” MK Alex Miller of Yisrael Beitinu stated as he submitted the 10 page petition, which included 50 pages of incriminating quotes attributed to Zoabi.

The left-wing Labor party initially lent its support to the petition, but subsequently withdrew it after buckling to Arab pressure and fearing it would not receive Arab support in the elections.

It was also reported that Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein, who has to offer his opinion on the issue, opposes the motion.

Petitions to bar Zoabi from the Knesset have twice been submitted and have twice failed.

Zoabi has been linked to Hamas and terror on multiple occasions, and is infamous for her provocative anti-Israel and pro-terror rhetoric.

Her most famous anti-Israel and pro-Hamas act was to participate in the violent Mavi Marmara flotilla from Turkey to Gaza in 2010 that was meant to undermine Israeli sovereignty and to send supplies to Hamas.

On one occasion she said that Israel has “no right to a normal life.” In another instance she claimed that “the Israeli occupation” was behind the murder of Israelis in Bulgaria. Hezbollah was implicated in that attack.

Zoabi participated in a Hamas “victory rally” at the Arab village of Kafr Kabul in the Galilee after Operation Protective Edge, showing support for the terror organization.

“We are part of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian resistance in Gaza,” Zoabi boasted at the rally. “We cannot separate from the resistance of the Palestinian people, it is part of us,” she continued. “Thus, they will end the resistance only when there is an end to [Palestinian] oppression, and you cannot break them in their steadfastness.”

On another occasion she declared to the Russian media: “I have no problem with Iran, and I am very supportive of all the groups fighting the occupation of the Palestinians by Israel. I certainly support any and all groups fighting the occupation.”

She also said the Hamas terrorists who murdered the three Israeli teens last summer were “not terrorists.”

In yet another outrageous comment form October, she said that the IDF is worse than the Islamic State (ISIS) terror organization. According to Zoabi, “[ISIS] kills one person every time with their knives, but the IDF kills dozens of Palestinians with the push of a button,” characterizing an IDF air force pilot as “no less a terrorist than those who take knives and cut off heads.”
