“The fall of IDF fighters in battle against Hamas terrorists in Gaza is a hard and painful blow. Our hearts and thoughts are with their dear families,” said Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Wednesday.
"We will not realize the promise of a better future unless we, the civilized world, are willing to fight the barbarians," Israel's prime minister said.
The main agenda, according to senior Saudi officials, is Riyadh's growing ties with Israel and how it will affect the Kingdom's relationship with the Palestinians.
"This is the exact opposite of what we have now in which everything is prohibited except that which is permitted. From now on everything will be permitted except that which is prohibited," Prime Minister Netanyahu says.

"This disturbance, the bloodshed, these are things that we cannot tolerate," Israeli prime minister says during discussion on riot that broke out between rival factions of Eritrean asylum seekers.
Defense Minister Gallant said Israel has some "tens of thousands of structures that we need to address so that in emergencies, people will not become trapped in them."
Saleh Arouri, who commands Hamas terror cells in Judea and Samaria, threatened war if Israel began launching targeted assassinations of Hamas leaders in Gaza or Lebanon.
"Inflation is decreasing, housing prices are taking a nosedive, unemployment is at 3.3% - almost the best result in the western world," Israeli prime minister says.
'The State of Israel cares for its citizens, whoever they are. In recent days, citizens of Israel and eligible immigrants from Ethiopia have been placed in dangerous situations in the battle zones,' Netanyahu stated.
'As in every democratic country, we have disagreements; this is natural," Netanyahu said. However, "I always remember one thing: We are one people, with one fate. We have no other country. We are brothers.'
'There have been over 50 attempts in recent years, the majority of which already were on the verge of being executed before they were thwarted at the last minute,' said Israel's defense minister.
