Israel reportedly plans to domestically develop and manufacture heavy bombs for the Air Force, after delivery of such bombs from the US has been stalled.

The $1 billion military aid shipment to Israel will include $700 million in tank ammunition, $500 million in tactical vehicles, and $60 million in mortar rounds.

Delivery of both the bombs and the fighter jets and engines was approved by Congress years ago but had not yet been fulfilled.
