Students for Justice in Palestine explained its decision to have Miko Peled speak on campus, in spite of the problematic content of his tweet about the new Memorandum of Understanding signed between the US and Israel earlier this month.

The course in question — 'Palestine: A Settler Colonial Analysis' — was decried by AMCHA Initiative, a campus watchdog group, as 'a classic example of anti-Semitic anti-Zionism,' which contributes to greater hostility toward Jewish and pro-Israel students on campus.

Sadly, on many college campuses, anti-Jewish sentiment is strong and is often masked merely as opposition to Israel. College students are indoctrinated from day one against the Jewish state, and are often exposed to one-sided and false information.

Anti-Israel student group, Students for Justice in Palestine, from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) responsible for a violent protest against a pro-Israel event is under investigation by the local District Attorney’s (DA) office.
