Benad Eve-Chen took his incredible skateboarding, skiing and cello-playing skills and turned them into his unique means of Divine service.
Benad Eve-Chen increased his religious observance at the age of 20, but that didn’t mean leaving his entire past behind. He took his incredible skateboarding, skiing and cello-playing skills and turned them into his unique means of Divine service.
Before Rosh Hashana, Benad could be seen riding around on his skateboard, blowing for the shofar (ram’s horn) for Jewish people who may not have had the chance to hear it. Can you imagine the surprise people had, seeing this visibly orthodox Jew riding around on a skateboard?
When he’s not impressing people with his fabulous skateboarding skills, he can be found studying Torah in Jerusalem.
